Effective September 29, 2026.
The short version: Thrillventions does not track you, does not use analytics or advertising, does not set cookies and does not sell or share anyone's information. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form, and we use it only to reply to you.
This policy applies to everyone who visits thrillventions.com, wherever in the world they are.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you enter. Nothing is collected unless you fill in the form and press send.
If you only read the site, we collect nothing. There are no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising networks, social media embeds or third-party scripts, and fonts are served from our own site rather than from an outside provider.
How we use it
Your email address and the other details you send are used for one purpose only: to read and respond to your message. We will never use your email address for advertising, marketing or newsletters, never add it to a mailing list, and never sell, rent or trade it to anyone.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use cookies. If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is remembered in your own browser's local storage so the page looks the same next time. That setting never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Our hosting provider
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which delivers the pages to your browser and stores contact form submissions on our behalf. Like any web host, Netlify's servers necessarily process basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use this information to identify or track visitors. Netlify's handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy.
Netlify is based in the United States, so information you send through the contact form may be stored and processed there. Netlify provides safeguards for international transfers, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Legal basis
Where the law requires a legal basis for processing personal information (for example under the EU or UK GDPR), we rely on your consent, given when you send the form, and on our legitimate interest in answering the messages people send us. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your message and any follow-up conversation, and are then deleted. You can ask us to delete your message sooner at any time.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy of it;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop using your information, or restrict how it is used.
These requests are free and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making one. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law — for example the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, Canada's PIPEDA, Brazil's LGPD or Australia's Privacy Act — and you may also complain to your local data protection authority. We honour all of these rights for every visitor, regardless of location.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and contact form submissions are stored with our hosting provider behind access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but collecting as little as possible is the best protection we can offer.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Articles may link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We will not begin collecting new kinds of information without updating this policy first.

For any privacy question or request, use the contact form and choose the subject “Other”.
